Meet the Owners
Native Idahoan, Angela Mori, has called The Mona Lisa her second home since its opening in 1998. Angelas cousin, with her help, started the transformation of the historic blacksmith shop into the present day restaurant while many skeptics said Nampa was not ready for something like fondue! Thankfully Nampa residents and those all over the valley embraced it with great enthusiasm.

In 2000 Dustin and Angie were married and he was brought on board. They both were just working at the Mona Lisa while going to Boise State for unrelated fields of interest. As they continued working together it became clear that they both possessed a natural talent for the restaurant business. By working hard and showing commitment the opportunity came to purchase the business. While that was not the intended goal, it became a natural fit for them and their soon to be family.
Today Dustin manages the day to day activities
of the restaurant and he may even be your server! Owning a
small business has taught him the meaning of multi-tasking.
Some nights he may be the cook, while other nights a dish
washer and waiter. Angie has moved from the restaurant to
the home and helps with the books and training. They now have
four beautiful children and are already teaching them fondue
basics so they can take over the family business some day!
They enjoy their Sunday and Mondays off together as a family.
